Lois is survived by two brothers, Ralph M. Bricker and Lee E. (Janice) Bricker both of San Antonio, Texas. She is proceeded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2022, at Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana with Pastor David Phillips officiating.

David is survived by his wife Kathy, two sons, Scott A. (Stacey) Jivery of Kokomo, Indiana, and Michael P. (Rose) Jivery of Raymond, New Hampshire, two brothers, Richard Lyle Jivery of Alhambra, California, Terry Allen (Phyllis) Jivery of LaFontaine, Indiana, and 8 grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his parents.

David’s wishes were to have private family services at Lake Erie.

He leaves behind three grandchildren, whom he adored: Katherine Tate of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kyle Grigsby of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Blake Grisby of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and his brother Edward K. (Pete) Jones of Wabash, Indiana. He was proceeded in death by his wife Sandra "World's Best Mom" Jones and his parents. "Something has spoken to me in the night... and told me that I shall die, I know not where. Saying: '(Death is) to lose the earth you know for greater knowing; to lose the life you have, for greater life; to leave the friends you loved, for greater loving; to find a land more kind than home, more large than earth.' Raymond was a graduate of Manchester College. After college he joined the Peace Corps and served in Ecuador and Ghana, West Africa. He taught Science in Tampa, Florida with the Teacher Corps and later on the Choctaw Indian Reservation in Philadelphia, MS. He was an entomologist and loved collecting and instructing others about the benefits of insects. In retirement he enjoyed gardening, playing chess, watching sports; especially the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and the Kansas State Wildcats; but most of all he enjoyed cheering on the Manchester Squires’ Wrestling Team. He loved and was appreciative of the family of nurses and caregivers at Peabody in North Manchester.

Raymond is survived by his son, Byron (Dusti) Sweet of Macy, Indiana, and sister, Brenda Dickey of Marion, Indiana. He was proceeded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Sweet.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery in Huntington, Indiana.

Rick worked as a drug and alcohol education and life skills teacher for several years at Paddock View Residential Center in Marion, IN and later as an addictions counselor in Port Angeles, WA. After returning to Wabash, he most recently worked as a medication coordinator for Genoa Healthcare.

He was a past member of the Community Foundation of Wabash County Grants committee. Rick was a long time avid supporter and volunteer with the Special Olympics of Wabash County.

He is survived by his son Adam (Rodney Farrell), Griffith, IN; daughters Gretchen (Ryan) Middleton, Ft. Wayne, and Miranda Hahn, Wabash; three grandchildren, Lilly Hahn, Anderson Hahn, and Palmer Middleton, all of Ft Wayne; a brother Dave (Audrey) Hahn, Wabash, and three sisters, Nancy Hahn, Wabash, Sue (Keith) Duhamell, Wabash, and Carol (Ray) Fitzgerald, Kokomo. He was proceeded in death by his parents, and a sister, Linda.

Derrick was a graduate of Northfield High School in 1982. He also graduated from Heartland Career Center with a Certificate in Auto Body Repair. He was awarded artist of the year in 1982 and his painting still hangs today. He worked at the Shirt shed in the 80’s, then Artistic Designs, then onto the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Naples, Florida as a manager and director of the fitness center. He was awarded 5-star employee of the year; His Mother was invited and attended the banquet held in his honor. Due to health issues, he returned home to Wabash and took a job for McDonald Funeral Home. Derrick enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts and Kentucky Wildcats Fan. He loved spending time with family, friends, and grandchildren. He was also a member of Wabash Free Will Baptist Church in Wabash.

Derrick is survived by his mother, Vera Shelton of Lagro, Indiana; Daughter Chelsea (Joe) Beard of North Manchester, Indiana, Brittany Shelton of Tennessee, Granddaughter Kensley Thompson, Grandson Everett Thompson, Girlfriend Karen McKenzie, of Lagro, Indiana, one sister Adrena Shelton of Wabash. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Heather, Justin, and Carlee, he was very proud of them. He is proceeded in death by his father and brother, Ernest Shelton and Maurice Shelton.

Derrick was an upstanding man who left inspiration to the one’s left here to mourn his loss. To honor his memory; his last wishes would be to be an organ donor.
