He professed his faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Larry enjoyed being a farmer and loved all his friends and family. He was a great husband, father, brother, son, friend, and he will be dearly missed.
Larry united in marriage to Brenda Tucker Read on October 28th, 1978. Who preceded her death on September 9th, 2006. Larry is survived by:
Four sisters: Delois Jefferies, of Campbellsville; Edna Read, of Campbellsville; Evelien Read, of Edmonton; and Josephine Osbourne, of Campbellsville.

Obituary Preview: Orville Smith, 78, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late James Smith and Edith Pennington Smith, was born May 26th, 1943, in Hardin County, Kentucky and departed this life Tuesday, April 5th, 2022, at Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
He was a hardworking man and started his own business doing tree removals. He started Green Acres Tree Removal in Illinois then came to Campbellsville and started Ray’s Tree Removal. Orville was known by many people and was loved dearly. Many knew him for his love of boots and several people called him “Boots” for this very reason. Orville loved bowling where he actually played on a bowling team at Phillips Lane in Campbellsville.  He was a loving husband, father, brother, papaw, and friend. He will be loved and missed by many.
Orville united in marriage to Faye Smith in 1961, who preceded her death on September 16th, 2010. Orville is survived by:
One daughter: Bonnie Smith Cross, of Campbellsville.
Four grandchildren: Raymond Carl Fowler IV and his wife, Jessica, of Louisville; Rodney Joseph Tyler Cross, of San Diego California; Rebecca Faye Cassie Cross, of Lexington; and Jacqueline Nicole Cross, of Lexington.
Four great-grandchildren: Raymond Carl Fowler V, of Louisville; Halle Reese Cross, of Campbellsville; Levi Henry Fowler, of Louisville; and Athena Rose Leggins, of Campbellsville.

She professed her faith in Christ and was a member at Campbellsville Baptist Temple. Phyllis worked as a preschool teacher at Highview Baptist in Louisville, service desk manager at K-Mart, and also worked at Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. Phyllis was a loving mother, wife, daughter, and grandmother. She also liked to cook and especially loved taking care of her grandchildren the most. She loved all her family and friends dearly.
Phyllis united in marriage to Jerry Black on September 18th, 1965, who survives. Phyllis is also survived by:
One son: Brian Black and his wife, Marsha, of Campbellsville.
Three grandchildren: Chris Black, and his wife, Sarah, of Campbellsville; Grace Black, of Campbellsville; Shawn Black, and Joel Nault, of Louisville.

Obituary Preview: Mary Eileen Summers, 72, of Clementsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late James Covis “Cobe” Goode and Evelyn Edith Wethington Goode, was born March 7th, 1949, in Campbellsville, Kentucky, and departed this life Saturday, February 19th, 2022, at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Kentucky.
She professed her faith in Christ and was of Catholic belief and a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. Eileen worked as a pharmacy technician at Rite Aid.  She was also a cook and waitress at Betty’s Café in Clementsville.  She was a CPA receptionist of Kerbaugh, Rodes, and Bulter of Danville for 10 years.  She was proud to be a part of The Pork Producers of Casey County, along with her husband, Ronnie Summers for many years.  She was an active member of the Wednesday Lady’s Luncheon and St. Bernard’s Quilting Ladies.   Eileen was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.
Eileen united in marriage to Ronnie Summers on June 17th, 1967, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, who preceded her in death on March 31st, 2020. Eileen is survived by:
Four sons: Craig Summers and his wife, Jennifer, of Campbellsville; Marshall Summers of Clementsville; Jayme Summers and his wife, Gloria, of Clementsville; and Darren Summers of Clementsville.
Seven grandchildren: Miranda Dean and her husband, Jacob, of Liberty; Chelsey Milby and her husband, Blake, of Campbellsville; Ronnie Summers and his wife, Hannah, of Clementsville; Zachary Dale Grider and Kayla, of Mannsville; Presley Summers of Campbellsville, Dalton Summers of Clementsville, Patrick “PJ” Summers of Clementsville.
Eight great-grandchildren:  Hadley Summers of Hart County; Marley Skinner of Campbellsville; Jason and Connor Kane of Mannsville; Remi and Zoey Summers of Clementsville; Autumn Grider of Mannsville; and Nova Milby of Campbellsville.
Three sisters:  Sue Ann Goode, Betty Goode Wethington, and Patty Goode Clements and John Clements, all Clementsville.
Two brothers:  Jim Goode and his wife, Brenda, of Campbellsville and Dave Goode and his wife, Jennifer, of Russell Springs.
Three sister-in-laws:  Gayle Renner of Louisville; Kathy Hatchett and her husband, Joe, of Louisville; and Katie York and her husband, Tony, of Liberty.

He united in marriage to Shirley Ann Marriner in 1954, who preceded him in death on April 30th, 1970. Hershel professed his faith in Christ and was of Christian faith. He served in the United States Marines from 1953-1956. His passion was harness racing, he was a self-made owner, trainer, and driver of harness horses. Hershel loved playing cards especially solitaire. He was a loving dad and grandfather. Hershel is survived by:
Two sons: Richard Hall and his wife, Ann, of Newburg, Indiana, and Heith Hall and his wife, Connie, of Campbellsville, Kentucky.
Two daughters: Doreen O’Hara and her husband, Joe, of Midland, Texas, and Debra Hall of Grand Falls, Texas.

Richard A. Bloyd - January 26, 1956 - February 15, 2022

Obituary Preview: Richard A. Bloyd, 66 of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Thomas and Mary Barbara Vaughn Bloyd, was born January 26th, 1956, and departed this life on Tuesday, February 15th, 2022, at St Joseph Hospital after a prolonged battle with diabetes and heart disease.
Richard grew up in Campbellsville, a graduate from Taylor County High School and Campbellsville College before moving to Lexington to complete his engineering degree at the University of Kentucky. Richard had a distinguished career in Lexington working for IBM, Lexmark, teaching computer science at UK and later as assistant manager at the Lexington Joseph Beth Book store before failing eyesight caused his early retirement. While being legally blind, he remained very world connected through his care giver Bonnie Shelton, electronic media, and his voice activated cell phone.
Survived by his first cousins:  Dennis, Bobby, and Jay Vaughn, formerly of Hart County, Kentucky.

He united in marriage to Barbra Ann Rafferty on July 1st, 1967, who preceded him in death on August 2nd, 2010. Ronald professed his faith in Jesus Christ as a young child and member of Temple Baptist Church, Owensboro, Kentucky, and became a Charter Member of Campbellsville Baptist Temple, Campbellsville, Kentucky. Before his retirement, Ronald was formerly employed by Campbellsville Industries, Inc., Cox Interior, Inc., and Tec-Fab, Inc., all of Campbellsville, Kentucky.
Ronald is survived by two sons and one daughter:  Milton Douglas Fitzgerald and Wife Ann Michael of Cheyenne, Wyoming; Kymberli Ann Fitzgerald of Campbellsville, Kentucky; and Walter Anderson Fitzgerald and Wife, Cindy Elizabeth, of Campbellsville, Kentucky. Ronald was preceded in death by two Brothers: Donald Fitzgerald and Barry Lee Fitzgerald, of Owensboro, Kentucky and two Brothers-in-Law; Benjamin Carroll Rafferty and Dannie Dale Cox, and one Sister-in-Law; Linda Joyce Winfrey, all of Campbellsville, Kentucky.
Ronald will be remembered as a loving Husband and Father, but most importantly as a Man of Faith; having lived a life according to his favorite Bible verse. Four grandchildren:  Kaitlyn and Klay Warriner of Campbellsville; Allison Stewart of Jamestown; and Ty Wesley of Jamestown.

He was a wonderful, loving husband and father. Jimmy worked as a mechanic and was a former employee at Firestone and Advance Auto in Campbellsville.  In his spare time, he loved working with wood. One piece of advice he left for any man getting married was “always say yes ma’am and no ma’am and know when to say it.” Besides his loving wife of 50 years, Beverley, Jimmy is survived by:

He united in marriage to Lenora Lucille Welch in June 1962, who preceded his death on September 27th, 2012.
Survived by five grandchildren: Larry Schmucker, III and his wife, Amber Schmucker of Campbellsville; Catherine Lanora Schmucker and her significant other Jessika Higgerson of Campbellsville; Love Lee Schmucker of Carrolton; Emmie Rodprajons and Jordan Rodprajons, both of Newport, Kentucky.
Six great grandchildren: Larry Eugene Schmucker, IV, Elijah Israel Sscmucker, George Schmucker, Remedy Marie Schmucker, Zaiyan Dennis Schmucker, Myah Cheyenne Schmucker, Macie Carol Schmucker.

He is survived by one son and one daughter: Leon Smith and wife, Karen of Russellville, Ky and Norma Wheeler and husband, Bobby Joe of Danville.
Four grandsons: Brian Wheeler and wife, Nicole of Danville; Steven Wheeler and wife, Heather of Danville; Aaron Smith and wife, Heather of Springfield; and Tyler Smith and wife, Taylor of Reston, VA.
