It's a connection we will always share and, as I continue to cheer on our team, I know he will be there with me in spirit.
Mike's love for life was evident in the little things, like the way he enjoyed playing dice with friends, or how his laughter would fill a room. He was always ready for a good conversation, and his ability to make those around him feel comfortable and at ease is one of the many reasons he will always hold a special place in our hearts.
The last time I saw him, Mike brought his friends Larry and Renee along to share in our good times together. As always, his laughter and joy filled the room, creating lasting memories that I will forever cherish. While he snapped a selfie of us, I could see the genuine happiness shining through, encapsulating the essence of a man who lived his life surrounded by love and friendship.
In life, Mike was a remarkable man, who touched many with his kindness, humility, and spirit. In death, his legacy will live on through the memories we’ve made, the laughter we’ve shared, and the love we hold in our hearts.
